We are off to catch the train and head up to York. We were surprised to see several nuclear reactors along the way. York was a very cute little town.
We stayed mostly in the central inner city called the "Shambles" surrounded by the old wall. We enjoyed a 2-mile walk around the city on top of the wall.
We fell in love with this place. We stayed at the Coach House Hotel across from the St. Mary's Abbey ruins.

We had to tour the York Minster. The largest Gothic church north of the Alps (540 feet long, 200 feet tall). This is definitely the center piece and can be
seen from all over the city. This would explain why I am staring up at this sight.
We did manage to find the OZ hair salon. Off to
a pub and then to our latest Bed and Breakfast.
