| Mt. Hood trip in February 2007 |
This was our third outing on Mt. Hood going snow shoe hiking. We decided to stay at Timberline Lodge this year.
This place is always nice and rustic.
This year I decided we needed to hike around Trillium Lake. It is close to 6 miles around the lake if you stay on the
trail. We did not, so I am not sure how far we went. The worst part is that it is a steep slope down at the start. This
means that the finish will be a steep finish up-hill. That was not fun. We were dragging at the end.
