Thursday, April 25th
Our first day in the United Kingdom.  We took the train from the airport into the city to a train station called King's Cross.  This train and Underground
Tube station would be our jumping off point for all sight seeing in London.  The station itself was quite spectacular looking.  We needed to become
familiar with the Underground map quickly.
We found our Bed and Breakfast Hotel called the
Jenkins Hotel down the road at the left.  The
room was small, too small to even take a picture.


We dropped off our bags freshened up and set
out to go for a short walk about the city.  We
jumped on and off of the Tube.  We went straight
to the Thames River to enjoy a city park and look
at the bridges.  We were not up for too much
excitement since we were a little tired from the
flight.
We saw the moon rise above the
Tower Bridge.  We new it was time
to head back to our hotel.  We
stopped at a pub near our hotel
for a nightcap first.
